Thought I would give Minted a try and they seem to get a reasonable rating of many players,there were many positive reviews out there, so here are my findings.
I deposited 100 euros form my Visa account, this wasnt an instant transaction, the money left the account sure enough but didnt show in my Minted poker account until few hours after. I kind of liked this, it was a very different procedure to what I experienced with all other poker rooms, It showed to me they were being thorough and very responsible. They required much verification photo id etc.
The software is very good as good as anything else out there and was never disconnected once.
The player numbers was bad practically non existent, two or three nl cash tables at any one time and si and gos were worse.
Played short handed nl, most of the players there are crazy re-raising 3 betting with rubbish and I got sucked out a lot. I didnt like the outcome of some of the hands I played, idiots were hitting 1 and 2 outers a little to often, however I am a live player and this is were I have made some good money, online I am a small loser like most I suppose. Anyway I decided to withdraw my money out after a few days because I was starting to get fed up of the bs and the total lack of players.
I tried repeatedly to withdraw my total bankroll which included 100 euros plus a little profit, I just could not withdraw, there was something wrong, so I contacted a representative of minted through quick chat, they couldnt see what the problem was and said they would refer this to there technical team. I thought this may have something to do with the recent ban on American and French players and the fact that my little profit came from them, It was just a thought anyway.Never was contacted by there technical team.
I withdrew the initial deposit of 100 euros with no problem with ease and the money went into my bank account in about 3 days once it was approved,BUT HERE IS THE PROBLEM 100 euros (£86.32) left my uk bank account and £81.45 was received back into my bank account I received JUST UNDER £5 LESS.
To summarise my experience at Minted and to justify my score for them I would say Yes the software is great but this accounts for nothing if you have virtually no players youre getting robbed on youre withdraw exchange and the rng seemed like the usual b…s…well you no what I mean. Leave well alone.
